She is survived by: her husband Col. John D. Smith Ret; her children, Sharon Turman (Kenny) and Phil Smith (Leslie); her grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Diana Mantilla (David), Meredith Smith, Lily Turman, Steel Smith, Stella Burke and Claudia Burke; and her great grandchild Sophia Mantilla.
