He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barnes and Jeanette Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Barnes; his children, Ashley Nicole Barnes Holland (Bret) and Michael Cody Barnes (Katie); his grandchildren, Harper Grace Holland, Stella Emerson Holland and Addie Kate Bowden; and his siblings, Robert Michael Barnes (Rhonda) and Renee Barnes Rayhle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
