She is survived by: her son Robert Bibb Nelson of Huntsville; her grandson Nicholas Robert Nelson of Huntsville; and her niece Leslie S. Bibb of Birmingham.

The family has requested flowers and donations to Compasses Hospice of Huntsville Alabama.
