She was predeceased by: her parents, James Estell Broyles and Sally Leo Carr Broyles; and her husband Joe Wade Cowan. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Vickers (Troy) and Rebecca J. Cowan; her grandsons, Michael Vickers (Holly) and Cody Rhodes; her great grandchild Sydney Vickers (Jamichael); and her siblings, Ralph Broyles, Linda Kennedy and Bertha Paul.
