She was predeceased by: her parents, Earley Medders and Cora Griffith Medders; and her siblings, Royce Medders, Donald Medders, Larry Medders and Sara Cosper (Medders).
She is survived by: her children, Joey Torkar and Elissa Galloway; her grandchildren, Mitchell Galloway and Audrey Torkar; and her pet Toby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her loyal companion.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens (698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America in Mary's honor.
