She is survived by: her husband Harless Hale of Huntsville, AL; her sons, Max Curtis Hale (Nancy) of New Hope, AL, Dexter Arnold Hale (Kathy) of Huntsville, AL and Darryl Gene Hale (Shelia) of Huntsville, AL; her brother John Earl Fanning (Patsy) of Elora, TN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Jason Hale, Jennifer Penney, Jacob Hale, Jessica Christensen, Alicia Kelly, Anna Hale, Jennifer Pinkerton and John Honea; her nieces, Lisa Bohler and Kathy Murray; and her nephew John Fanning. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
