He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cobb Nivens; his brother Kerry Kent Nivens (Margaret); his son Darrin Kent Nivens (Samantha); his grandchildren, Austin Clark Nivens, Clayton Brock Nivens (Kyleigh), Madison Lynn Nivens and Jack Michael Nivens; his nephew Phillip Clark Nivens (Dayana); and his nieces, Christy Nivens Killen (Rob) and Adrienne Nivens Towry (Chad).
