She was predeceased by: her parents, Curl Parker Morrow and Martha Calista Morrow; her husband Colonel Lee Swafford; her daughter Norma Swafford Grady; her granddaughter Sheila Smith; her siblings, Shirley Hickman, Willie Alma Lyle, Eula Ann Sheppard, James Frances Morrow, Willard Dean Morrow, George Arnold Morrow and Robert Franklin Morrow; and her half-siblings, Vinie Bell Morrow Crittenden, Estelle Morrow (Blondie), Grady Lee Morrow, Leona Morrow Nichlos, James Nelson Morrow, Curl Parker Morrow Jr. and Charles Lester Morrow (Cotton).
She is survived by: her sisters, Faye Hicks, Juanita Womac (Sterling) and Sue Holder (Larry); her daughters, Jo Mitchell (Bruce), Glenda Anderson (Walt), Kim Sharp (Tim) and Wanda Swafford; her grandchildren, Will Mitchell (Julia), Parker Mitchell (Maggie), Kate Tinsley (Anthony), Marissa Anderson Weir, Ranger Grady (Charlene), Paige Gay (Sherwood), Cassie Tucker (Brandon), Beth Belyeu (Jon) and Wes Sharp; and her great grandchildren, Tori Grady Boltinhouse (William), Ashley Grady, Jackson Westbrook, Evelyn Mitchell, Virginia Mitchell, Rylie Weir, Aspen Mabes, Amelia Weir and Ricker Belyeu. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville (2411 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (202 Maple Hill St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, the library program at the Church on the Hill, or any charity of your choice.
