She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Ethridge and Ethel Davis Ethridge; her husband William E. Upton; and her siblings, Marie McBride, Samuel F. "Frankie" Ethridge, William E. Ethridge "Ervin" and Clarence O. "Otis" Etridge.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Ratledge (Rodney) and Thomas Ethridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
