It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Jones Thomas of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Miriam Jones Thomas to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKendrey Jones and Margaret Farmer Jones; her brother Dr. William M. Jones, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Dr. Ruth Ann Jones (Leslie J. Thomas, Jr.). She is survived by: her children, Laura Edge (Don) of Vincent, AL, Leslie J. Thomas III (Charlotte) of Brewton, AL and Steven Mckendrey Thomas (Beth) of Norfolk, VA; and her grandchildren, Shelly Ann Edge McDonald (Rex), Jennifer Edge Manley (Todd) and Jessica Thomas. She is also survived by five nieces and three nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to First Baptist Church Moody where Miriam was an active member for many years.
