She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Ray and Doris Ray (Sides); and her sisters, Barbara Hodgens and Cathy Harper. She is survived by: her husband Robert Tate; her stepchildren, Dustin Tate, Dewey Tate and Tonya Swearengin; her foster son Eric Buchanan; her sisters, Sandy G. Ray and Jennifer Mott; her nieces and nephews, Shannon Harper, Madison Mott, Moriah Mott, Matt Ray and Jeremy Settles; and her stepgrandchildren, Tyler Swearengin, Nicole Tate and Zek Baker.
