He is survived by: his wife Sarah Mathis; his children, Adam Mathis (Misty Mathis) and Stephanie Mathis Thomas (Joseph Thomas); his aunts, Modelle Mathis, Ruth Finley and Elizabeth Chester; his grandchildren, Jodie Thomas, Hope Thomas Whalley (Ian Whalley), Emerie Thomas and Avery Thomas; his great grandchildren, Gracyn and Noah Whalley; his siblings, Marc (Donna), Emmie (Johnny), Mike (Jean), Vicky and Max (Sarah); and his fathers-in-law, John, Bob (Janet), Clifton (Verna) and Bill (Debbie). He is also survived by cousins, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
