He was predeceased by : his wife Jo Ray; and his granddaughter Maegan Moore. He is survived by : his children, Gloria R. Moore (Tom), Morris "Eddie" Ray Jr. (Becky), Jerry A. Ray (Kathy) and Randy J. Ray. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
