She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ed Johnson and Kittie Lamb Johnson; her husband Robert O. Parks; and her children, Danny Parks (Donna), David Parks (Roxanne) and Vickie Parks Wales (Van). She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
