She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matthew Landers and Lena Tuck Landers; her husband Hammond Curry Turner; her siblings, John Landers, Luther Landers, Melvin Landers, Shelby Landers, Lois Hall and Mamie S'fero; and her son-in-law Edward Alan Burks.
She is survived by: her children, Lind Turner Burks and Carlyn Turner Deeds (John); and her grandchildren, Turner Alan Burks and Parker Hammond Burks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
