She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Mitchell; and her children, Fred Barhorst, Vicki Kranz and Becky Anderson. She is survived by: her daughter Barb Barhorst of Huntsville; her children-in-law, Susan Barhorst of Albertville and Danny Kranz of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Christina Stafford (Matt), Jennifer Wilson (Joey), Don Anderson, Chelsea Anderson, Amber Barhorst and Josh Barhorst; and her great grandchildren, Emily Brown, Kaylee Stafford and Riley Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to The Alzheimer's Association or Encompass Home Health.
