She was predeceased by : her parents, Alton Richards and Willie Mae Richards; and her sister Judy Lamon. She is survived by : her husband Walter Lane; her children, Jarrett Lane, Joshua Lane and Monica Miller; her brothers, Mike Richards and David Richards; and her grandchildren, Madeline Sexton, Abigail Miller, Lexi Welsh, Noah Miller, Parker Miller and Jace Lane. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

She was a great listener with great advice and a wonderful sense of humor. She smiled with her eyes. Her faith was strong. I will miss her until we see each other again in our eternal home.”
