It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pattie Bell Simpson in Huntsville, Alabama, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mayes Bennett and Helen Simpson Bennett. She is survived by: her significant other David Lawrence Simpson; her sons, Paul Bennett Simpson and David Simpson Jr.; her sister Sharon Bennett Pattillo; her nephew Duncan Pattillo; and her grandchildren, Kate, Stephen, Alan, Carter and Paige. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
