She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Herman Cox; her parents, Ross Paul Starkey and Beulah Estalee Hall Starkey; and her sisters, Peggy S. Christian and Elizabeth Owen.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Watkins; her children, Virginia "Ginger" Mitchell (Tim), Connie Spears (Richard) and Charles David Cox (Zack); her grandchildren, Ross Spears (Harley), Haley Mitchell Findlay (Andy), Jordan Cox, Riley Spears and Timothy Mitchell (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Lessie and Millie-Grace.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Cox's name to the charity of one's choice.
