He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Haupt and Marie Haupt; his sister Diane; and his nephew Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Haupt; his children, Justin Haupt (Brittany), Ricky Haupt, Lucy Thompson (David) and Daniel Arrington (Hollie); his siblings, Dennis (Julie), Angie (Wyatt) and Denise; and his grandchildren, Carson, Wesley, Tinley, Remi, Hunter, Peyton, Hope, Jackson, Daphne and Hudson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the CICU II at Huntsville Hospital, whose exceptional care meant the world to Richard and his family.
