He is survived by: his children, Christine Faye Herren, John Paul Rafuse, Richard Lawrence Rafuse, Braden Alan McKechnie Jr., Robert Gerard Rafuse II and Dorothy Renee Rafuse; and his sister Julie Ann Rhoades. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
