He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Ford; his sister Susan Ford Echols; his children, Robert Hunter Ford, Jr., Brannon Sykes Ford, Anna Ford Smith and Amy Charlotte Ford; and his grandchildren, Mason Hunter Ford, Robert Hunter Ford III, Brannon Sykes Ford, Jr., Jude Orion Smith, Johanna Morgan Ford, Sophia DeAnne Ford, Whitney Anne Ford, Stella Claire Smith and Katherine Shelley Ford.
