He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Baird and Jimmie Maurice Baird; his wife Louise; his cousin Henry Mauldin; his children, Rebecca Lindgren and Whit; his children-in-law, Paul Lindgren and Erin; and his grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew Lindgren and Charlotte Lindgren.

Dr. Robert Len Baird died peacefully on January 15th, 2021 in Huntsville, AL with his family by his side, ending a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
