He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert V. Batten and Margaret Smith Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Conley Batten; his sons, Scott Batten (Jami) and Kevin Batten (Kim); and his grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, Kevin, Drew, Knight, Knox, Felicity Batten, Jessica and Jack Dyes.
