She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Carroll and Laura Chambers Carroll; her husband Charles Alderton; her sons, Wayne Alderton and Douglas Alderton; and her sister-in-law Martha Ann Carroll.
She is survived by: her son Richard Alderton (Lisa); her brother James Carroll; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Alderton, Carissa Campbell, Cari Welles and Laura Alderton. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
