He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Chester Darden, Sr. and Annie Earle Hinson Darden; and his sisters, Ann Mayfield and Annette Gruber. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Moon Darden; and his granddaughters, Kayla Ann Williamson, Abigail Hope Williamson and Shyanne Marie Putman.
