It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Mitchell of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spradley and Jeanette Spradley; and her sisters, Barbara Pierce and Carolyn Jones. She is survived by: her husband Brooks Mitchell; her daughter April Mitchell Garrett; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Garrett (Chris Thomas) and Raine Hall (Ben Hall); her great grandchildren, Lilah and Brinley Hall; and her children, Freddie Smith and Terrie Sullivan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to local animal shelters in Shirley's name.
