It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jane Shields McDonald (Huntsville, Alabama), who passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Clyde McDonald; and her sister Pamela Shields Carter. She is survived by: her brothers, Sherman Shields and Kenneth Shields; her children, Russ McDonald (Kelly), Stan McDonald (Nancy), Caroline Aderholt (Robert) and Leah Wiggins (Stefan); her grandchildren, Dr. Matthew McDonald (Missy), Carter McDonald, Lewis McDonald (Mary), Locker McDonald (Payton), Lloyd McDonald (Caitlyn), Mary McDonald, Melissa McDonald, Luke McDonald, Manie McDonald, Mary Elliott Aderholt, Robert Hays Aderholt, Bruce Engler and Anna Engler; and her stepgrandchildren, Jackson Hall, Will Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Bailey Waites and Jimmie Wiggins.
