He is survived by: his wife Betty Ray Gooch Campbell; his sons, Dewayne Campbell (Debbie) of Athens and Barry Campbell (Candy) of New Market; his grandchildren, Bradley Campbell (Lori) of Elkmont and Kristan Campbell of Athens; his great grandchildren, Breanna Campbell of Elkmont and Alexis Campbell of Elkmont; his great great grandchildren, Isiah Campbell, Miciah Campbell of Elkmont, Mya of Athens and Cameron Campbell of Athens; and his siblings, Donnie Campbell of Athens, Martha Hagood of Priceville and Betty Ledlow of Decatur. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
