Steve Ray Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Ray of Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Ray and Ruth Ray; and his nephew Justin Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Ray; his sons, Jason (Jenna) and Nathan Ray; his stepchildren, Leanne Archer, Deborah McMickin (Scott) and Rick Archer (Kyla); and his sisters, Patsy Watkins, Vicki Gurley (Buddy) and Judy Crawford (Stan). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a very special dog.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund in memory of Steve Ray.
