He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy Beal. He is survived by: his wife Rita Beal; his children, Scott Beal, Cindy Buck and Kim Bozeman; and his brother John Beal. He is also survived by four grandsons, one granddaughter; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 3190 Leeman Ferry Rd., Huntsville, AL 35801.
