He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Gladstone Coffin and Claire Maris Coffin (Barnitz); his siblings, David Coffin, June Jostock and Teddy Pitcairn; his son Guy Donald Coffin; and his grandson Glenn Thomas Estep.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy H. Coffin; his brother Robert Coffin; his daughter Nedra Eddins; his grandchildren, Lachlan Estep (Vanessa Clayberg) and Coralie Eddins (Ron Blankenbeckler); and his great grandchild Helena Dunn. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great-great nephews, and great-great nieces.
