He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Earl. He is survived by: his wife Helga; his children, Susan P. Martin (Keith), Emil Persons (Jennifer) and Tommy Persons (Carmen); and his brothers, Gene Persons and Bob Persons (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
