He was predeceased by: his son Thomas E. Puckett, Jr.; his former wife Margaret J. Puckett; and his parents, Houston Puckett and Annie Puckett. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Puckett; his son Tony Puckett (Dee); his daughter-in-law Sandra Puckett; his grandchildren, Jason Puckett, Matthew Puckett and Morgan Puckett; his extended family Louie Lumpkin (Sandy); his granddaughters, Charlotte, Melanie and Shauna; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Anna, Sawyer and Lilly.
