He was predeceased by: his siblings, Phyllis Barton, Trenna Watts and Lloyd Puckett; and his daughter Barby Lynn Holman. He is survived by: his wife Bobbye Puckett; his daughter Kimberly Kay Zerrusen; his sister Janice Robb; and his grandchildren, Tyler Parker, Taryn Hamilton, Cayton Elizabeth Moak, Amanda Jo Norman, John Christopher Norman, Hayden Holman and Cody Michael Zerrusen. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
