He is survived by: his sons, Deacon Stephen Kirkpatrick (Brenda) and Michael Kirkpatrick; his significant other Norma Jensen; and his grandchildren, Kelley Stolze, Wes Kirkpatrick and Stephine Zumbach. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and the United Way.
