He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Pendergrass and Dovie Thompson Pendergrass; and his sisters, Lassie Hester, Louise Kirkland and Willene Enochs.
He is survived by: his wife Loreta Pendergrass; his children, Lamar Pendergrass (Darlene), Rhonda Donovan (Dan) and Debbie Kinney (Greg); and his siblings, Jimmy Pendergrass, Mildred Larue and Norma Collins. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
