William left this world on November 14, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Donald Dexter "Don" Blue and Dorothy Blue. He is survived by: his wife Isabel MacGuire Blue; his daughters, Sarah Blue Johnson (Jason) and Rebecca "Becky" Blue; his granddaughters, Jane Rainer "Janie", Anne Byrom "Annie B" and Rebecca "Becca" Johnson; and his siblings, John Blue (Carolyn) of Huntsville, Ernie Blue of Los Angeles, Donna Blue of Huntsville and Lani Blue Taylor (Bill) of Oakland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (301 Drake Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35802). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
