She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Mae Smith Holt and John May Holt; and her half-brother William Flournoy Holt. She is survived by: her husband James Marvin Cox, Jr. (Jim); her children, Kelli Sasser (Scott), John Cox (Amy) and Daniel Cox (Sue Ellen); her grandchildren, Christopher Sasser, Anna Grace Christian (Nicholas), Sophie Sasser and Jackson Sasser; and her great grandchild Sage James Christian.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hurtsboro Methodist Church (609 Church, Hurtsboro, AL 36860). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
