She was predeceased by : her husband Marion Newman; and her children, David Posey and Diane Whitaker. She is survived by : her daughter Judy Salzmann; her siblings, Roy Johnson, Evelyn Register, Sandra Sherrill and Wilma Jean Norris; her grandchildren, Stephenie Roberts, Lauren Shoemaker and Alicia Whitaker; and her great grandchildren, William and Benjamin Shoemaker.
