He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Barbour, Sr. and Vurba Ira Goodrum Barbour; his child Emogene Theriot Barbour; his former life partner Martha J. Guy Barbour; his daughter Brenda Susan Barbour Simmons; his siblings, Milton Barbour, Raymond Barbour, Jr. and Sheryl Barbour Clark; and his grandson Anthony Roy Barbour, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Rachel Lynette Smith Barbour; his son Anthony Roy; his brothers, Edward A. Barbour and George Thomas; and also Tony. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grand-children; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mr. Barbour's name be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Room 260, Memphis, TN 38105.
