He is survived by: his friend Big Heart; his wife Margaret Nettles Purifoy of Jackson; his stepchildren, Nettie Johnson, Mattie Webb, Solomn Webb and Deborah Johnson; his siblings, Jessie Ruth Salvage, Christine Marie Purifoy, Ruth Lavon Purifoy, Williams Earl Webb (Billie), Dennis Ray Purifoy, Thomas Purifoy, Mary Purifoy, Ruthie Mae Purifoy, Clara Purifoy, Marvin Purifoy, Melvin Purifoy, Barbara Ann Purifoy, Willie Mae Purifoy, Tracy Purifoy (Kezzy) and Bridget Purifoy; his siblings-in-law, Charles Nettles (Lillian) of Grove Hill, Elbert Nettles (Linda) of Grove Hill, Fredrick Nettles (Pam) of Prince George, Jerry Nettles Carlton (Debra) of Calvert, James Nettles (Brenda) of Calvert, Deloris Richardson of Mableton, Thelma Carey of Jackson and Marie Gray of Los Angeles, Calif.; and his close friend Bob Foreman. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins and friends.
