George Washington Skipper III Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2022, at the age of 76, George Washington Skipper III (Jackson, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Skipper, II of Washington and Elizabeth Carmichael Skipper; his wife Helen O'Melia Skipper; and his great grandchild Salli Elizabeth Parden. He is survived by: his sons, George Skipper IV (Jennifer) of Washington, Thomas Gray Skipper, Richard Carmichael Skipper (Debra) and David O'Melia Skipper (Jessica); his grandchildren, Meagan Skipper Hoven (Kipp), George W. Skipper, Robert Lawson Skipper, Kathryn Elizabeth Skipper, Edward Harrison Skipper, Jones Michael Skipper, Jessica Kristine Thomas, Elizabeth Marie Skipper, Richard Carmichael Skipper II, John David Skipper and Mary Barnes Skipper; his great grandchildren, Lillie Clair Hoven, Helen Grayce Hoven, Nora Brady Hoven and William Edward Gartman II; his siblings, Judy Skipper and Joe Carmichael Skipper (Helen); and his caregiver Kevin Brunson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
