He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Boutwell and Maggie Arnold Boutwell; his wives, Martha Lou Busby Nader and Janie Joiner Boutwell; his son William Walter Boutwell; his grandson Heath Rotch; and his sister Reebe Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Walter Stacey Boutwell (Sharon), Minnie Barnett (Donald), Wanda Pezent, Billie Windham (Tommy) and Renee Williams (Geary); his great grandchildren, Scott Boutwell, Stephen Boutwell, Daniel Hill, Ivan Pezent, Sawyer Rotch, Walt Rotch and Willie Williams; Vic Nader (Tina). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
