He is survived by : his children, Lamar Motes (Angie), Gary Motes (Sandra) and Mary Ann Ready (Clay, Sr.); and his siblings, Thomas Motes (Glenda), Fred Motes and Alton Motes (Linda Nell). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
