He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Perkins and Dorothy Wilkinson Perkins; and his sister Betty Hartsell. He is survived by: his wife Diane Horton Perkins; his daughters, Thea Wiggins (Billy) and Freya Biggers (Billy); his grandchildren, Will Wiggins (Katie), Rush Wiggins (Molly), Dr. Kalin McCabe Roach (Toby) and Carter Biggers; and his siblings, Mike Perkins (Susan), Patty Harris (Billy) and Phyllis Hyde. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
