She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bivin Coleman and William Riley Coleman; her husband Robert L. "Toots" Tompkins; her sisters, Ann Coleman Bozeman Henderson and Kay Coleman Vice; and her son Robert C. "Bobby" Tompkins.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Rester (James "Woody") of Jackson and James Frank Tompkins of Port Allen; her grandchildren, Christopher Charles Tompkins (Nicole) of Jackson, Reagan Rester Rousse (Jeremy) of Barre, Vt., James Woodrow Rester Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla, Jessica Tompkins Hayward of Port Allen and Jaime Bush (Julius) of Gonzales; her great grandchildren, Ayden Phillip Tompkins, Bryce Coleman Sloan, Blaine Patrick Sloan, Brindley Grace Hayward, James Robert "Jack" Rousse and Juliet Claire Rousse; and her sister Emily Coleman Cleveland of Alexander City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
