She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Blankenship, Sr. and Carrie Dell Blankenship (Milstead); her husband Thomas A. Overstreet; and her siblings, Robert Lee Blankenship Jr. (Nellie), Charles Melvin Blankenship (Melba), David Earl Blankenship (Hester), Anna Clara Younge (George Jr.) and Jean Delores Moseley (Ray).
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Louie Overstreet (Peggy); her sister Glenda Shelby; her nephews, Tommy Overstreet and Jonathan Overstreet; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jon Garrett, Rachel, Lauren and Luke; and her sibling's children, Debra Ropers, Jimmy, Sharon Rebek, Jerry, Eddie Cunningham, Carolyn Jones, Gloria Robertson, Marshall Woodyard and Derek Overstreet. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, loving family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walker Springs Road Baptist Church (1200 Walker Springs Rd, Jackson, AL 36545). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Perry's Chapel Cemetery.
