She was predeceased by: her parents, Rivers Calhoun and Eartha Chapman Howze; her husband Johnnie Pugh Sr.; her children, Marie Pugh, Betty Jean James, Dorothy Jean Pugh, Sandra Ann Dunigan and Johnnie Pugh Jr.; and her siblings, Annie Mae Jones, Bertha Baldwin Moore and Thomas Earl Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Eartha LaShay Welch (Joshua) of Thomasville, Jerry Pugh (Bernice) of Zimco, Larry Jean Pugh of Birmingham, Dennis Pugh Sr. (Roselyn) of Whatley and Randy Pugh of Montgomery; and her siblings, Ruby Gray Hunter (Floyd) of Pine Hill, Virginia Todd of Zimco and John Bumpers of Long Beach, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
