He is survived by: his wife Ruth Patterson of Jacksons Gap; his children, Julie Bowden (Samuel) of Alexander City, Susan Weddle (Philip) of Alexander City and Sammie Patterson (Stacey) of Jacksons Gap; his grandchildren, Benjamin Patterson (Sarah), Michael Patterson (Jessi), Megan Smith (Adam), Kelsey Spann (Chris), Bethany McDaniel (Jared), Rebecca Bowden and John Bowden; and his great grandchildren, Brenna Murphy, Connor Murphy, Ashton Smith, Payton Smith, Brody Spann, Lyla Patterson and Wyatt Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
